    Agreed. For all the noise that Winthrop and their new legion of fans are making, they have never won a tournament game. They are too obvious to be Cinderella. Davidson would fit more into the role of a Cinderella team if they could knok off a couple of teams.

    If Winthrop pulls an 8 or 9 they'd be playing a 1 in the 2nd round. Not sure about a run at that point.

    Winthrop at least won their conference. Butler didn't even win the Regular season or tournament title for the Horizon League. Butler is declining a bit. I don't think Wright State is bad at all though. Winthrop has an SOS of over 200. They got in by playing good teams close but not beating anyone that good (and winning the conference tourney of course).
