i hope coach lowe is OK. i know he hated to leave his team in such a heated rivalry game. if there is any solace to the state fans, it appears that he has restored the competitive flavor to this backyard brawl. your guys played well.

Wow, I didn't think Sid was worth 23 points in a game.

    Big Ben speaking his mind...............

Ben McCauley, who came into the game averaging 16.1 points but managed just three on 1-for-3 shooting, said the team got away from running its offense against North Carolina's increased pressure.

"We wouldn't have been taking those bad shots if Coach Lowe was on the sideline because those guys who took the bad shots would know that he's going to get into them on the sideline," McCauley said. "They should still have that same respect for Coach Towe. Guys should respect our coaches and listen to them and run the offense and unfortunately we didn't do that, and I'm still trying to figure out why not."
