Yawn, we got 1 answer, and a new character (I guess the 97 we have now aren't enough.

Jack's tattoo says in Chinese "He walks among us but is not one of us"

Julia was put on trial for killing that dude, (this is where the new character came in, but I can't remember her name) they referred to her as "the Sheriff" I guess she is law, judge and jury on the island.

any way, Alex tells Jack that on the island the Law is "an eye for an eye" meaning Julia will be put to death. Ben is suffering from infection (how convenient) so jack cuts a deal with him that he'll treat him and get him well but he has to let Julia live. he agrees but Julia is "marked" (branded on her back.)

we also learned for what it's worth that the small island is just a work station, they all live on the Main island.

also, we found out that Cindy is still alive and so are the children that were abducted from the beach. but we didn't get any information on what the story was on the either being there even though Jack asked.

Cindy's reply was "it's not as simple as that"

I vaguely remember seeing the new character. Was she the women Desmond was talking to in last week's episode? Not his girlfriend, but the older one he got the ring from.

the thing that's really grating about this show is that life seems only take place in short bursts. when they're not on camera, nobody seems to do anything. i mean, seriously, with the amount of time jack has spent with "the others" and the disbelief tom(?) displayed when jack susepcted they were going to kill him, you'd think at some point they'd say "look, you got the wrong idea -- this is who we are" and then commence with the explanation.

The island sucks worst for Jack. He is a good looking rich young doctor. He could be living on a beach in Thailand, well maybe not any more, and banging hot asian chicks but instead he is trapped on that island where the only available hot chick would rather be with the resident "bad boy".

 

well that episode just pisses me off...
