    Oh and then this

    University officials do acknowledge football could boost pride. But they say football is expensive and many schools lose money on the sport. Also, studies suggest there is no long-term increase in admissions applications or alumni donations that can be tied directly to the football team.

    Good step. This would have been unphantomable even two years ago. I don't get into personal insults, I just want a team to call my own. Not one to pull for in which I have no direct relation.

    We're thinking ahead math. You see, the track field, with its hurdles and all, can be converted into the new Niner football field. Until, of course, the new stadium is built.
