    No idea, but they've been playing since 1968.

    Boise State had to start sometime. Why can't Charlotte's time be now?

    no, I don't say this because "I just feel like arguing" and that copout is beyond old.

    The problem is you're trying to correct people on plausibility when using the basis of a simple question that you answered incorrectly. A chance is greater than no chance, it's very simple.

    I agree that your behavior is beyond old. You've already admitted in the past that you do take opportunities to argue with me just because you find it fun, although that's certainly not the primary reason every time you choose to argue with me. In this case it's pretty obvious, however.
    No, you're wrong and everyone else sees that already. Simply adding a football program doesn't increase the chances of UNCC getting invited to join a major conference. As I said, the chance of it happening with UNCC having a D1-AA football team is still 0%.

    I might've said that a good long while ago, but I don't remember having done so at all.

    If it was, that's not been the case for a good long time, but you've brought it up literally every time you've had a problem with something I've said, whether it was like now when I disagreed, or if it was something you took it upon yourself to start a problem with. Regardless, dealing with you isn't something that I would consider fun or entertaining and I'd really prefer you drop this dumb crap instead of bringing it into every discussion. This doesn't 'win' you anything and only looks to be some sort of "retribution" for having the gall to disagree with you, considering the general disdain you have.

    nice work on the faux consensus building, but what's that again? Or is this your way of saying "I disagree"?

    it's a start, and therefore a chance. It may be 5%, but having football has a chance to leading to good football. Having no football never leads to good football. There are no major conferences that carry teams that have no football. Therefore it's basic, simple, and easy to see that the answer to SDS' question is 'yes', it just doesn't make it plausible. You're basically just stating an opinion that it's very, very unlikely, and therefore seem to have decided that makes it 0%.

    Do any major conferences have schools with D1-AA football programs? No. Therefore by your own definition, it wouldn't improve the chances at all. Again, this is clearly just a matter of you feeling withdrawal from not arguing with me in the Panthers forum recently enough, and attempting to get your fix here.

    No, obviously. There have been a few 1-AA schools to excel at that level that have moved up, though. And that does improve the chances, which was what the question asked. I'm not advocating they do it, though, and that's not the reason to have football. At best, I imagine the process would last at least 15-20 years before the transition could be made to becoming a very crappy D1 team.

    You know how silly you sound when you try to pull this crap?

    About as silly as you look by coming into college football to pick a fight with me?

    For what it's worth HH and Collin you're both mistaken on student allotment tickets at UT home football games. Seems that the limit is how many students ask for them. I asked the question of the Director of Internet Communications and this is his answer;

    Carry on.
