are you saying that UNCC will never have a decent sports program? Cause I'm inclined to disagree with that.

Obviously not, it's the second part of your previous statement that I disagree with. Why in the world would ANY team, not just Charlotte, ever be content with thinking it can't be a great team. A team should always shoot for the top.

I can't see Charlotte with a football team... sorry. Have some wealthy alumni stepped forward to donate a few million to seed the program? Are student fees going to be enough to help keep the program going? Will enough people attend in an area where the Bobcats play to less than a full house and where Panther fans don't show up (and many of those who do leave early) if the team isn't kicking ass? To me, the Charlotte area isn't that great of a sports market so another team isn't going to start a rush for tickets...

    Nope.

    Yep

Basketball /= football. UNCC football /= 70,000 Panthers stadium seating.

It's completely diverse and lacking tradition, I'll agree. Here's to adding some tradition.

A rush, no. 10-15k initially? yep.

You never did answer the question on how many of those students are PART_TIME!

Don't know and don't care much. It's an arbitray distinction to call someone taking 11 hours 'part time' and someone taking 12 hours 'full time'.

I was part time for a year, and I attended tons of sporting events that year.

I'll guesstimate 5,000 though. Now, you want to make the mistaken assumption that none of them attend sporting events? Or, once again hone in on student attendance at one of the best student attended basketball programs in the country (soccer has been excellent too, off an and on)?

By the way, it looks like my 7500 students on or near campus is dated.

Looks like it's closer to 9,000.
