    Dowdell played like a madman. what was he like 19/19 on free throws? I can't remember who said it but the Heels lose their shit when they have to play a half court offense. That and so much is predicated on them out rebounding the other team. VT is a lot better team than #25 (ESPN). Kudos to Va Tech

    well, Seth isn't some hack pulled off the street--the guy has shown since his arrival at VT that he can win games against good teams.

    No, he's good now that he's in the ACC given the talent he can now attract. He sucked at USF.

    Wouldn't be the first time they helped the Heels out. They did 2 years ago when they beat Wake Forest to help UNC get in first place.

    I didn't get to see much of the game and haven't watched the Tivo yet. What adjustments did Roy make to Dowdell? I got home in time for overtime and was surprised that Ginyard wasn't on him considering that he was torching Carolina's defense.

    A true champion knocks out its challenger and does not leave it up to the judges. Having said that, I still cannot help but post this picture of the final play of last nights game.
