    Duke=NIT? come on yall... yall know that if we at least win 2 more conference games.. then we will prolly get in.. we can get in on a 7-9 conference record with how well we done in the non conf with our RPI being so good.. thats the only thing saving us with the way we're playign right now.. and yes i agree that we dictated the pace against unc but only 3 guys played worth a flip and mcroberts whined and he needs to either suck it up or K needs to wait till we play miami again and bench him through a half or the whole game.. but yeah we dictated the pace and at the end those 3 were worn out.. we're to blame though in all these losses.. im not gonna blame anyone else but us.. we let leads slip in 2.. against unc we played ourselves out.. and then last night we waited till halfway throuh 1st half to start playing.. we aint like we have been but we're not totally dead.. only reason it hurts so bad and looks so bad is cause of how good we've been past 10 yrs

    dook dictating the tempo? You mean running up and down the court at UNC's preferred pace is dictating the tempo? How did that work?

    NOT TOO GOOD

    dook tried running with UNC. It worked for awhile until they got dead legged while UNC just kept on running them off the floor.

    Instead of looking at how many points each team scored compared to their average look at how each team's defense did. dook's D averaged giving up 57 points. UNC pounded them for 79 (plus 22). UNC's D averaged giving up 66 points and dook scored 73 (plus 7). If the game had been played at dook's pace it would have been played in the low 60s.

    dook dictated the pace? too bad they tried and failed doing it at the one UNC prefers.
