Duke loses to Maryland by 12. What do you think will be their seed in the NCAA? 5-7?

i saw the game. maryland started strong and held off a couple of duke runs in the second half, putting them away with a late flourish. not much from the devils in this one. they'll be back tho. i know they face a road trip to BC. dont be surprised to see them upset the Eagles. as far as the tourney goes, it's too early to be talking seeds imo.

Let me first say this that i don't think it will happen.Let say Duke go 6-10 or 7-9 should the make the big dance?consider that the don't have any win that you can say man this is a huge win.now back to reality with this lose.I will be some what surprise if duke is still in the top 25 after today huge lost.MD is not a good team and good team should have beat MD and not lose by 12.I think duke is right now looking at 7 to 9 seed.NIT number 1 seed:yikes:

It's obvious that the streak is starting to get to the Imps. They are not very confident as you would expect. I still think they are a pretty good team, just not the really good team Duke fans are used to seeing. Don't count them out, they seem to play well in the ACC Tournament. Big week for Carolina, with Va Tech and Boston College. If they win them both, they will win the league.

I can't believe I'm saying this - but I don't think I want dook to lose five in a row. A win against BC could help UNC out tremedously.

But I sure as hell won't be pulling for them.

Nothing beats watching dook struggle. Funny thing is K has no one to blame for this sorry team except himself. This team is the one he put together. No early defections to the NBA, no injuries. Just all the McD all americans he decided he wanted to build his team around. He has two class full of them, with relatively few upper classmen, just like UNC.

The only two missing are Boateng and Boykin and they sucked anyway. Well, I forgot about Deng - but K had ample opportunity to replace him.

The old man may be losing his touch

no early players to the nba? i take it u didnt look at the starting team we coulda had this year had all the players stayed.. we woulda had deng, livingston, humphries.. lots of players.. but this is just growing pains that this team will definitely benefit from come tournament time even going into next year.. we'll still make the tournament after beating teams like georgetown, gonzaga, indiana.. we'll make it but we'll have the mid seedings like have already been discussed

    I did mention Deng.

Livingston never played a game for dook.

Dwight Howard was gonna sign with UNC if he didn't opt for the draft - missing him obviously makes the Heels suck this year.

As for Humphries - HE decided he didn't want any part of wasting time on K's bench - and he didn't go to the NBA - he went to another school.

just face it - K is losing his recruiting touch.
