Great game. Duke's inability to shoot free throw in the end killed them. 3 of 11 in second half? that and they were dead tired. Duke has a nice back court.

I attribute that to depth. Watching the substitution patterns, Roy had 3 players coming in everytime we had one. No legs = missed free throws and missed chippies.

I think Duke had the right gameplan. Very rarely did Tyler get a pass inside the paint and when he did he was immediately doubled. They just ran out of steam.

The hanging on the rim T was the right call BTW. No question.

I can't believe you would say that even for a dookie. The first half was so one sided I was in disbelief. Dook did run out of steam and I don't see it going down any other way at the dean dome.

Say what? That the T was the right call? He never touched the ball so he had no reason to pull the rim down. You are a homer moron if you think that was a bad call.

My biggest problem about the refs was in the first half nothing was called against Duke. I'm sorry, but any time Hansbrough has the ball surround by 3 Duke players all slapping at him and pushing on him, and he leaves the pile with blood over his eye, you've got to call a damned foul. I think the refs were better in the second half, but that shit early on was screwed up. I can live with the T on Thompson. I thought it was ticky-tacky and could've been overlooked considering some of the other crap the refs overlooked, but by the rulebook it was a tech.

And I don't think it was even close to one sided. All of Zoubeks "travels" were because he was bumped. That is a foul yet none were called. The refs were letting them play. It seemed one sided because Duke was attacking better than UNC was.

They also showed the slow mo of Henderson's first "goal tending". That ball was still on the way up.

was on the phone the first half so all I could do was watch with no sound. the second half I listened and thought the refs did an even job. Duke just ran out of gas. I noticed during the UVA game how gased McBob looked. thought that might be a factor this game. K has always had a short rotation. UNC depth was a major factor last night.

Scheyer played great. Ive been waiting for him to have a breakout game like that. Wright feasted off of Duke doubling Tyler.

I loved the shove to the floor of Tywon on the inbound pass in the final minute...If your going to go be the rule (as compared to the early fist half tech) then you have to call shoving a player to the ground from behind a FLAGRANT foul. No play was made on the ball.

All I have to say is that Raycom sucks. I can't believe we can't get this game in HD.
