    Sucked. Big time.

What they needed to do - they didn't do enough of. What they couldn't do and win - they did.

    Ah well.

You all were right about the Bears. They were seriously exposed.

Now, we need Rex to get more experience and elevate his game. I think he has skills but needs to learn to use them.

Actually... I think you need to get rid of Rex.

Rex did not lose the game for them, although he did not do much to help either. The defense getting thrashed is what hurt them. They can not stop the run or the short passing game. Maybe if they get Harris back 100% and the safety they lost then the D will be a lot better. Rex never had much of a chance. You do have to wonder what the Bears could do with a quality veteran QB. Imagine if they had landed Drew Brees....

Losing Benson really hurt them. I think they had planned a lot of plays for him, when that went out the window they couldn't adjust.

But with Grossman at QB they need a D that can win the game, and didn't have it.

Rex is an awful quarterback. His flaws are the same ones I said he had coming out of Florida, and they're the same ones he'll have for however long an NFL team is stupid enough to pay him. The Bears should dump that bum and do whatever it takes to get a veteran quarterback capable of completing simple passes and not spazzing under pressure.

I'll probably let him get past 25 games played before I throw him under the bus.

So you're giving him extra credit because he's a huge injury risk too? The guy's had four years and he still sucks. Enough is enough.

No. I'm just pointing out that the guy's had one year of actual playing time and he still sucks. Since I didn't see any complaints about him getting hurt anywhere in the thread, I didn't know that was part of the judging criteria.

When he was not turning the ball over he was moving the Bears offense. He just did not get many chances due to turnovers and the Colts keeping the ball the whole game. He does suck right now. Whether he can mature into something more than he is, is a good question. If I am the Bears I want a good QB while my window of opportunity is open.
