That is a good point too but there is no guarantee they will get to draft either of those guys. They should be able to land some good talent in free agency though because they will have the full cap next year (I think anyway).

Gotta give it to them, if they keep up their current pace this year they will have improved on their record every season

As long as they show a willingness to spend some $$ in free agency in order to provide a good product, I will give them a chance. At the first some of Bob becoming a cheapskate ( like a certain orange-haired little bastard who now lives in OK City) and letting all of our free agents walk, I walk, too.

They have been playing about .500 ball for the past several games. .500 will get you in the playoffs in the east this year.

I'd like them to make a small run at something, but then make massive moves in the off season through draft and free agency. And Morrison seems to play twice as good on the road than he does at home, I haven't looked at his #s, but at least he puts points on the board while away, at home he seems to get stuck at 3 points.

Team still plays up to the level of good teams and down to the level of bad teams. A lot of peices are in place, frankly I think they should be a .500 team at this point of the season. They still are young for the most part. Felton, Okefor, May, and Morrison are good players to build the franchise on. Problem is, will Charlotte ever warm up to NBA hoops again. I know that I am not excited about NBA anymore, and have not been for several years.

same here. If it weren't for May or Felton, I wouldn't even read the box score. I will watch the game every now and again, but wouldn't care either way if Charlotte lost the team or if they went to the playoffs, the NBA just sucks.

Ive been watching the Bobcats a lot more this season. I will say that as a whole, the NBA is much better than is was 3,4, or 5 years ago. Teams have players that can actually shoot. not just threes, but mid range shots. gone is the slow-down Knicks boring stlye of basketball. teams are running, and scoring. I think people need to let go of their grudge with the NBA. Watch it and enjoy, or move on. people are WAY more leniant of what other athletes do but one NBA player screws up and people hold a grudge. Carmelo gets in a fight and the whole league is full of thugs. 9 Cincinnatti Bengals get arrested in 9 months and its a joke, no big deal.

Bobcats are only third year team and are learning to play.what do people expect? they have won 11 of the past 18 (.61%). thats progress. Bobcats are pretty fun to watch if you give them a chance.

Like most people I am reluctant to get into them after the Hornets debacle. They do seem to be doing things the right way so far though. They have enough talent right now to be a playoff team, they just lose too many games they should win due to youth. If they make the playoffs that might go a long way towards generating fan interest.
