He's kept the "top" targets that Bunting started with, and close the deal on a couple solid targets and 1 prospect. He's also targeting better players than Buntings staff did, but until he starts to pull some of those in its hard to know if he's been wasting his time with them or not.

Tennessee and Clemtech are trying to pry away Jones from you. I don't think he's done anything great, but keep what he's had...which isn't easy. I think NEXT season you'll see a big difference. Bet he pulls in some good Florida talent AND keeps more of the instate kids at home. He'll be good. No doubt about it.

I think Jones was goes as soon as Marvin Sanders was let go off the staff.

They pulled in Tydreke Powell this weekend. Big get as he is the #3 rated player in NC and #10 DT nationally. He is a 4 star. They also got a commitment a couple weeks ago from a big time TE out of Arkansas. I think he was a 4 star and a Texas commit who switched.

BHD is going to get some big-time football players to CH.

the TE was Zack Pinoalto (I think I spelled it right) and yes he switched his commitment from Texas to UNC.

I expect Butch to pull in some guys, but I'm not expecting miracles this year.

It took just one day for Southwest Edgecombe High defensive end Linwan Euwell to commit to North Carolina after N.C. State withdrew its scholarship offer.

Euwell had committed to N.C. State and former coach Chuck Amato in May, but re-opened his recruiting after Amato was fired and replaced with Tom O'Brien. Southwest Edgecombe coach Raymond Cobb said Euwell hoped to wait until the weekend to decide, but was told Wednesday night that N.C. State needed an immediate answer.

When Euwell couldn't give one, Cobb said, N.C. State decided to offer his scholarship to someone else.

"In the recruiting process, that's part of it," Cobb said. "I understand where State was coming from, and Linwan does, too."

Thursday night, Euwell committed to North Carolina. Euwell is 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds and has made 23 sacks over the past two seasons.

Gamecocks are done with this class...now they've got to HOLD what they have through signing day...

    We pulled in 3 4*'s and 1 5* from North Carolina...:headbang:

Bet Davis will start to close the door on that. :fire:

Who from NC was a 5 star this year?? I don't know of any 5-star NC players. Greg Little is considered #1 in NC and he's a 4 star

EDITED-Ah I see now Rivals and Scout disagree on his ranking.
