    Will commit publicly to the Gamecocks next week. Spurrier's class is at 7 with Rivals and 4 with ESPN. Carlos Dunlap is next (number 7 player in the nation).

    I'm happy.

    A #7 ranking is good, but SC's class is rated that highly because they're bringing in a shitload of players moreso than because of the quality of those players. According to Rivals they haven't signed one 5 star recruit, just ten 4 stars and thirteen 3 stars. Of course, if Culliver or Dunlap commit then that changes things since both are 5 stars. Let me know when SC actually wins a worthwhile game, though.

    Tar Heels just got Tydreke Powell and there's a rumor Marvin Austin my be coming to UNC. He's the #3 player in the nation. So frankly, I could give a rats ass about Culliver.

    Today Carlos Dunlap announces at 5. He's 5th in the country regardless of position. Between us and Florida. Rumor is he's coming to SC. We'll see.

    And Collin...Rivals only uses the top 23 players on your list. Anything over that is ignored. Mississippi State had 23 months ago and was way up in the rankings. They have 31 now but are out of the top 25.

    By the way...Carlos Dunlap shocked us. Went public with a commit to Florida. Oh well, we still have 2 of the top 10 DE's commited. And we need them. BAD.

    I really like that Robertson kid at DE for South Carolina...It's a shame the BD wasn't in place earlier to keep that kid in NC. Of course, the main reason TR didn't got to UNC was that turd Brad Lawing.

    It was between us and Clemson. UNC wasn't in the picture at the end. Of course if BD was there...who knows. I like the fact that Robertson graduated in December and is already enrolled. He can go through winter workouts and Spring practice as well.
