    You can never have too much pitching.

    I still have no idea what they are gonna do with the rotation. If they go with Paplebon, they are all righty. If they go with Lester, they put Paplebon's arm at risk again as well as risk the possibility of stunting his development.

    never enough good pitching, sure, but this guy is a stiff who's regressed steadily over the last three seasons.


    maybe he winds up being the closer and produces that way.

    Pineiro will have every chance to earn the closer's roll. His contract has a stipulation that kicks in an option year based on saves/finishing games. Papelbon's a starter, even more so now that Lester's immediate future is up in the air.

    Looks like they are trying to get Helton. If they give up either Hansen or Delcarmen, it's a bad deal, IMO.
