credit report question

Got it. The Account I am disputing is attached to an address I've never had.

 

If you had just built that project for my daughter, this would never have happened.

 

Glad this topic came up. I usually pull my credit report each year but forgot to in 2006. Gonna go do that today.

 

I've not got 8 things being disputed with Experian. 5 of them revolve around one address I've never had. 2 are associated with another address that was never mine. Everything came up in 05.

I doubt it. The amount owed was only $167. He would have bumped that fucker to the max.

 

That's really scary. Do you reckon it could be like an identity theft thing?

 

Nah. I got a card with the same company in the same month/year. I think someone made a clerical error and now it's on me to prove that I never lived where it's registered. Lady on the phone told me it's usually pretty easy to resolve since the only account that address is registered with is this one. I hope she's right and it goes away. I don't want a lower score because of some fat fuck's fingers. My account has been paid in full and has carried a zero balance for a while now.

In any event, I hope it gets sorted. It's the sort of thing I'd have a fit over!
