Tulsa (and Conf USA) will take all the Mustains it can get. And their moms.

It's not like he's transferring to Sam Houston.

Wont ever happen, Broyles likes him too much. According to Malzahn he left because he was hearing rumors about David Lee supplanting him instead of just being QB coach and assisting him. Well, see how that works out, Gus runs away and David Lee is new OC... and now we need a new QB.

Only hope I have is that David Lee can groom a new QB for us. He did have a hand in bringing up Tarvarus Jackson before he transferred. Brought Romo from a near side-arm delivery to where he is now.

My biggest concern is players that are leaving early along with seniors, Chris Houston is a huge loss, so is Jamal Anderson. Ugoh and Tubbs are gone from the O-line. Olajabutu gone. On the upside, on the chance we score another QB We still have Monk though >.<

QB won't matter that much with McFadden and Jones ripping off 7 and 8 yards a carry. When Mustain was in he went 8-0 but it was almost like Arkansas was winning in spite of him. Dick is bound to get better. He was only a sophomore. if he can even be serviceable then Arkansas will be scary. Mustain leaving won't really hit home till 2 years from now.

Mustain was night-and-day better than Dick.

"FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.-- Mitch Mustain, Arkansas' highly recruited quarterback who asked for and received his release from the Razorbacks this week, has re-enrolled at the university for classes this semester.

Mustain, a freshman, re-enrolled for classes late Friday afternoon, said Steve Voorhies, manager of media relations for the university.

Neither Mustain nor his mother could immediately be reached for comment Friday.

Razorbacks coach Houston Nutt had cleared Mustain to seek a transfer, and Tulsa, Texas Tech and Texas-El Paso expressed interest in the quarterback.

Tulsa is where former Arkansas offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn took a job as assistant head coach earlier this week. Malzahn was Mustain's high school coach at Springdale.

Nutt has left open the possibility for Mustain to return to the Razorbacks".

That's the latest, wish he would decide what the hell he is gonna do :hammer:

SEC was 6-2 in bowl games including the national champion.

Big 10 was 2-5 and their best team got exposed.

2 best teams got exposed. Both teams got a beat down in the BCS while both SEC schools won 41-14

Thanks, Nyt. Sounds like someone's trying to talk some sense into him. Going from a premiere position in the SEC to freaking Tulsa would be a horrible move for him. He can be an all-star in the toughest division in college football. He needs to take advantage of that opportunity, regardless of what happens to his old HS coach.
