    True strep throat comes on fast, has a high fever and white splotches all over the back of your throat.

    But many hypocondriacs say they have strep every time they get a sore throat.

    I went to the doctor and they swabbed my throat and the test came back saying I had strep......

    A strep test is the only way to confirm strep. But 99% of people who say they have strep, don't.

    Augmentin gives me the rip-roarin' shits!

    The pharmacist told me to take it with plenty of food to avoid problems. I have done that and it has not bothered me.

    I did not go to the doctor thinking I had strep. I thought I had an ear infection. My throat was swollen and causing fluid to back up behind my ear causing it to hurt.

    Is that the one where every time you swallow, you just about pass out from the pain??? I had that a few months back. Sucks ass.
