i love biscuits

Making biscuits truly is an art. My mother makes the best damn biscuits in the world. She can't really tell anyone how to make them, she just goes by how the dough looks and feels to know when she's got it just right.

 

I like whisker biscuits.

 

When I first started making them they could be used as weapons. I haven't made any in years now, cause I just don't care for them and white bread is the devil. But... I've always heard cold cold water/milk is what makes them flakey.
I used to watch this older lady I knew make them all with her hands, even patted them out with her hands. She used half buttermilk and half sweet milk and real butter along with crisco. No, those weren't fattening at all.
