i wasnt giving excuses... and like i said i know we're not like the 01 and 99 team we had and even the team from last year.. but we are still a good team and VT beating us at home shoulda gave them the respect that they didnt get until after they beat unc.. thats all im saying

 

Was probably the back to back loss to VT and GT that would have many thinking dook isn't top 10 worthy at this point.

Dook and UNC are both good teams, with their top 6 players about the same and very similar in ability and experience, the main thing UNC does have is a little more depth although very young depth.

 

He said Duke "Never" looked like a top 10 team. Offensively maybe not, but up to that point they had the second best defense in the nation.

 

Well I would agree with you on that point Sly, dook is known for their D, that has always been K's strongest point between O and D. I think Duke on paper should be anywhere from a #7-#14 team this year. UNC in my opinion at this point is anywhere between a #5-#12 team. Both team have the same issue of being very young so you really don't know how these team will react to certain pressures as the season's middle section continues and then of course the tourneys at the end, provided both are still there.

 

From an outsiders point of view, VT beating Duke at Cameron shouldn't surprise anyone. Hell, they almost beat them last year if not for that lucky shot. VT seems to always play Duke tough. Turning around and beating a number one ranked team, no matter who or where, is pretty impressive.

 

I hate dook, but I see no shame for any team loosing to them. VaTech is good and they are deep. We all know that in most years any given team can win. Sure, dook's history in the past 10 or 15 years will tell you that they normaly win that game but I think we can all agree this isnt the same team the dookies are used to having. Isnt it about time for K's back problem to resurface?

I don't know who should be ranked what, but I do know that the Heels lost on the road to a good team with just as much depth as they have. Clearly the Heels arent good enough, or didnt play good enough to get that win but I was proud of the way they finaly responded to VaTech, a lot of teams would have just continued to suck.

 

Because we have lost one more game than the tarheels? Maybe it is time for Roy to pay his players again. Hrmmmmmm?

Much rather have a medical condition than be a cheater like Roy.
