He didn't dive to showboat, he did it because he wasn't going to reach the endzone otherwise.

Someone find the clip. I looked and couldn't find it. But I'm pretty sure that he landed far enough back in the endzone to where he would've made it simply by falling over.

If not, I'll eat shit. But someone find the clip first. It was a late 50+ yard TD that put the game out of reach of an ISU play (+19) - unfortunately.

Couldn't find a clip but I found two stories that said he was hit at the two.

So someone serve me up a plate of shit. Preferably not Builder.

It didn't look like showboating to me. He would've made it in without the stretch, but he may not have been sure at the time. :twocentsandaplateofpoo:

it sure looked to me as though he was starting to do the stoopid leap over the goal line and got hit, which twisted him into an awkward position. Granted, he probably wouldn't have gotten hurt if he hadn't gotten clipped by the defender, but he also wouldn't have gotten hurt had he just finished the run in a normal fashion.

He was running normally until the defender hit his legs, and he's never done an endzone dive on any of his other touchdowns that I'm aware of. He normally just throws the ball back to the ref.

Well, it's really kinda hard to tell from that angle but it certainly looks to me like his eye is popped out.
