Solarte? Hoopsradio? Big Vito? Julia Gulia? Any interest perhaps  ? ? ? Triad is a decent sized market, but outside of minor league baseball & Wake hoops/football, not much goes on around town during the rest of the year. But I'm sure the pay would still be decent :) . . . .

Ummm, they do travel to Chapel Hill, Durham and Raleigh to cover events regularly as well as Charlotte. Maybe no one can work with Dave Goren, that job seems to be a revolving door.

But they have the best looking female reporters in the Triad now that Tera Williams has left Fox 8.

was this the Tolly Carr spot? I never liked him in sports. I'm glad he's on too early to watch now.

Yeah, I saw that Tolly Carr is doing the morning show now on WXII. Have a lot of folks been in this position over the years? I mean, its a good job for someone getting into the business who has been stuck in the sticks for the first couple of years in their career (i.e. WITN-TV7 in little Washington; I'm sure folks are itching to get out of town after a year or so :D :D !!!!!!!!).

There have been at least 2 weekend sports folks lately there. Tolly was being used in the morning some before the job became permanent. Kimberly Van Scoy, who has been there probably 10 years now could not be expected to carry the entire program from 5-7 and they were using Aixa Diaz and Nicole Ducouer in the mornings instead of doing live shots.

This crew gets along wonderfully, is funny on camera (sometimes too much so). Traffic reporter Jenny Stencel owns a improv club in Greensboro and you never know what she'll say or do.
