Bible was Gruden's replacement in Philly, but I don't think he lasted the year. That doesn't make him a bad coach, and he's certainly had a good run at BC. His father was obviously very good.

Good call getting the full O staff I guess, though I'm not familiar with the whole staff. So that means almost all the State coaches are out - thoughts on that, State fans?

I'm OK with it, because they've all worked with O'Brien. You never knew what you were going to get with Amato/<insert OC here>.

    O

BC was 1st in total offense in ACC in 2005 and 2nd in 2006. This is one Wolfpacker that's real glad to have that offensive staff moving in at Raleigh.

guy that I work with (a BC alum) says Bible is nearly as predictable as Henning...a steady diet of draw plays....then again, he hated TOB, and was glad to see him go, so he could be a bit disgruntled.

    Geez, ya think? :handjob:

State has offered the DC position to Mike Archer, who is DC at Kentucky. 3-year, $500k. Must be money that would make him move, cause Kentucky is looking pretty good these days.

I don't know about this offer, though. UK has had HORRIFIC D's throughout the years, and this past year's success certainly wasn't due to the D. I heard that Archer and TOB have been friends for a while..I hope he's offering based on D potential rather than friendship.

I know a guy who played LB at LSU that swears by Archer. And he was good as LBs coach with the Steelers. Since, I dunno.

I don't give a crap if he runs QB sneaks every play if he averages 8 wins a year....ends up in the top in O like he has in his only seasons in the ACC..... After what I've witnessed the last few years...I'll take a top rated offense....Regardless of how it gets done....Predictable...Not predictable.....Just win ...Like they have at BC...
