    The Fisher thing is unbelievably crooked. I certainly hope he becomes a 600k+ assistant at Alabama, otherwise I'd sue the hell out of that board. Furthermore, that level of blatant corruption should result in the board being dissolved altogether and Alabama going back on probation. All the lying and back-stabbing is one thing, but denying another school their head coach just to protect the University of Alabama is obscene and reprehensible.

    Do you know how the University system even works? UAB is losing money every year on sports since they went D1 - if the booster was only kicking in 400k (thats more than the school made on sports last year) where was the other 200k coming from? The school just plain ain't got the money. The BOT is responsible for things like that.

    Taxes, dumbass, just like every other university on the planet that doesn't have crooked boosters. You can't even begin to defend what the board did because it was completely indefensible and the most blatant act of corruption that I've seen in college football since the SMU scandal.

    Got to agree with Collin. I don't know all the details, but I'm surprised this story wasn't all over the media. Something STUNK. IMO, that was one of the reasons Fisher did NOT join Saban at AL.
