BSU vs OU

BSU going 13-0 and upsetting one of the bigger boys of college football doesn't help the BCS cause. Bring in a playoff system.

 

I have now seen the highlights and I hate myself for not watching last night. I watched games all day, and went to bed early. I will never miss another game, and I will never sleep again. What a game? What the hell has happend to Oklahoma's defense. I think Stoops is one the best coaches in the buisness but how do you explain all those yards and points?

I WILL NEVER SLEEP AGAIN!!!

Boise St.

Best game I have ever watched. I think Boise St. will be ranked in the preseason top 5 next year. They go undefeated next year they may be looking at a National Championship game.

 

They will be looking at it - on TV like the rest of us.

 

What pisses me off is I was looking for more football to watch, and was looking on every channel but ABC so I went to bed. I can't believe I missed it.

 

great game, but the BSU win would've given me the leg up on a $200 pick pool. Now I'm behind with 2 games left the other top guy didn't pick the same.

 

Not happy with the result, the play of the OU defense (missed tackles, blown coverages) or the ineptitude of the offense, Thompson looked awful most of the night and Adrian P. looked rusty except for OT.....

But God what a game!!!!! I've been bleary-eyed all day, but even with the loss, it was worth it!!! Think if someone had shown up in a movie studio with this script they would have been believed?

Kudos to BSU for having the balls to take the chance in OT. But I'm getting sick and tired of OU f***ing up BCS games.

It's time for a playoff...can you imagine 4 weeks of games that could be like this?
16 teams, first two round at home of higer seed so regular season means something, use BCS to seed, then semifinals and finals can be bid on...and you can still have all of the other bowls for teams not in the 16. Works pretty well for 1AA, II and III....

 

A playoff would be nice, but forget about 4 weeks. At most the playoff would be 4 teams and 2 games. You could even tie the 1st round with the bowls and add just 1 national championship matchup. This year, take the top 4 teams and match them up. Now it looks like the potato peelers from Boise would have a legit argument to have been in that top 4.

 

with only 4 teams, boise would have been still left out. honestly think they would have been picked over usc, fla, oh st and mich?
