Can't remember when I have been more dissappointed in a film. It had the potential to be a great story but they made it almost painful to watch. If you are thinking of going to see it, Don't.

LOL - too late. I went last night. I considered walking out about halfway through it. Angelina Jolie wasn't in it enough, and no skin from her anyway. Very boring. Reminded me of a documentary. Great cast, and Matt Damon did a decent job acting (if never speaking is acting), other than that, a complete dud.

Maybe if you weren't stoned/burnt out you could have paid attention to it. If you were expecting action, this wasn't the movie for you. It was a movie that was extremely detailed and built up towards a pretty decent payoff at the end. It does a great job of depicting the real life of a CIA agent at that time. Wasn't what I expected, but I wasn't dissapointed.

I had a friend compare it to Syriana.

Apparently, American audiences hate movies that make you think.

    I will see it.

I wasn't stoned or burned out. I understood the movie completely, but it was still boring to me. Just not my kind of movie - I was expecting more action, the only reason I even went is because the other 2 movies I wanted to see had an hour wait to get in. If you like a slow, drawn out movie, it was great. Not my type.

Agreed...Just because I don't like this dog of a film does not meanI did not understand it. I do understand they took what could have been a great idea for a film, get an all star cast, and FUCK IT UP.
