    growing up in an Irish family it was cornbeef and cabbage.

    Having a PA wife it is pork and saurkraut.

    Collards or any green leafy veggie for money
    Black Eye Peas for luck
    Rice for prosperity

    Add in some good pepper relish for peas
    oh and beer and bowl games

    Back eyed peas, collards and Rice. They say its for luck and southern by tradition. I think it was the worst meal ive ever had and 2007 is now gonna suck to high hell.
