I wanted to see what Weinke could do because I was curious to know if he gave us a better chance to win than Jake. I believe that question has been definitively answered in the negative.

am i being iggnurnt or has this organization been shy about trades since that silly Sean Gilbert thingy they did?
When was the last time there was a significant trade? I can't remember much along those lines during the Fox regime. Al Wallace was back in 2001 i think

    anybody?

It's not proving a point. Nor is that he had ten actual attempts.

No. Are you saying you don't believe Weinke could pull off dropping back and throwing the ball out of bounds after four seconds?

I guess he forgot where the LOS was once, by about five yards, so who knows, but I think he's better than that (oll)

We've traded a good deal more since Fox came than before him. We've had trades in every draft so far, that I know of, other than 06, and possibly stood pat in 06 because of the Manning pick. We traded for Wallace in 02, not 01, and didn't we trade for two different Cowboys offensive tackles in one week two years ago?

(plus Gilbert was a franchise free agent signing)

One overhead backside shot was shown, but you couldn't far downfield, but see I saw Williams open uncovered underneath.

He was bad. He wasn't consistently this bad in the past, but it was clear that he had trouble coming off his first option before looking to his next reciever, looking for the rush instead. The commentors even noticed it. The fact that we were running this much may have played into that, but that doesn't change the basic fact that he was holding the ball far too long, and he's had a habit of it.

I thought Weinkie was a solid backup too, especially after last year's game in Detroit, but he has the deer in the headlights thing going on now.
