    Weinkie was about as bad today as I can remember a guy ever being. If Jake can still not go next week then we need to think hard about using Bas.

    Makes you wonder what's running through Weinke's mind knowing the coaching staff has absolutely no confidence in you to convert a 3rd down. A statue has more mobility (and could probably find a secondary receiver faster too).

    We gained more yards with D williams taking the snaps than we did when Weinke dropped back to pass.

    Wow. That has got to be an NFL first.

    He has gotten worse each game he has played. He was not awful against the Giants if you discount the picks. If he could just feel the rush coming and get rid of the ball it would be a vast improvement on today's performance.

    Basanez could at least move the pocket if nothing else. Hell, he thrived on that at Northwestern.
