Well, as long as we're playing "spolier", let's (just for the hell of it) go grab the #6 seed.

If we beat ATL, we will be tied with them at 7-8, and we will tie them for record within the conference (5-6). That would be a nice start.

If we can have a scenario going into the final week, I'd be happy with that. Some say that we would just get blown out in the wildcard anyway, but you'll never know unless you try.

    2004 Vikings.
    2004 Rams.
    2002 Jets.

    Need I go on?

Seriously, none of the 5 teams we are fighting with have a spectacular conference record. Interestingly, of the wildcard hopefuls, we are tied with NYG with the highest strength of victory % (which very well could come in to play....IF we manage to win out)

Frye kinda sucks. So does Weinke. So, maybe it's a wash.

The team has not given up. They're just not running the football.

yeah. You always want to have a chance, even if they don't always play like it.

Once again, there's no QB Jake Delhomme today, but that wasn't a surprise.

They'll also play the Falcons without running backs Nick Goings and Steven Jackson, wide receivers Drew Carter and Taye Biddle, tackle Dave Kadela, linebacker Brandon Jamison and cornerback Dion Byrum

you don't lose 37-3 to the Steelers at home without some amount of quitting

They've not given up. Henning is just saving all the good plays for the playoffs. Kinda giving the other teams a false sense of security. When we make the playoffs Delhomme will come back with the super secret plays and win the super bowl, then when they interview him he will laugh about how everyone fell for the "plan".
