Is Jakes injury the same that destroyed Warner?

I think he had a broken thumb. He also lost his confidence, and his fire.

Our defense plays like that and Dan Marino wouldn't have given us a shot.

Youre delusional, JD has sucked this year. Please give Basanez a shot next weekend.

I hope Delhomme comes back next year and is our starter. He has done too many good things for the franchise for me to want to throw him out over a couple of bad games.

The one that really did him in was a broken thumb, as Linda said, but there were multiple throwing hand injuries he sufferred through his carreer.

Here's hoping Jake can play. I'd love a nice Jake rebound and win over ATL to close the year out.

Me too. I would like to see us get a Carr, Simms or other competition for Jake and Jake actually win out in training camp and preseason. I don't think he would, but I would like to see it. I like Jake but if better is available I say go for it.

though at this point it doesn't seem to matter, but QB Jake Delhomme's still not practicing as of Wednesday.

I get the feeling if they were already out of playoff contention, you'd definitely not see him back again this year, but as long as there's a chance, I suppose they're going to drag this one out.

    Can't blame them I suppose.

We stayed with Rodney Pete way too long. Fox is loyal to his guys. I doubt there is any chance we change QBs next season as long as Fox comes back. I have not been impressed with Weinkie so if they want to cut him loose in favor of a guy with more upside then I am all for it.
