    Very true. ECU, State, UNC, Duke, Wake....not to mention App. State, Western, Elon, etc...

    College sports at all levels in this state are pretty damn good. Catawba had a decent streak of strong football teams and Pfeiffer was a national power for awhile in basketball. Not bad for a couple of really small schools.

    I can't remember when App had a losing season. When I was in school up there from 95-98 we went to most of the games. They weren't like going to a State game, but it was fun as hell. Tailgated some, nothing like outside of Carter Finley, but still a great time.

    I just hope with all the pub ASU is getting, our fans don't become like UNCC or ECU fans always trying to live up to ACC schools. It's like little man's disease. ASU shouldn't worry what ACC schools do- do what you do and be successful. UNCC fans during basketball season sicken me. The same goes for ECU.
