At my kids school last night. Not bad. Almost nothing religious, but it contained a rather naive moral lesson. Apparently all it takes to make a "mean" person "nice" is to like them. The principal ruined it all by coming to the stage at the end and proclaiming that the Winter Holiday was really about Christmas and we all knew the real meaning of Christmas. I have it on video, maybe I'll sue. Bah Humbug!!!

you are probably the reason they had to call it the "winter holiday play" instead of just saying "Christmas".

Thank you, I try. School is not the place for religion. Too many people of other faiths attend.

Yes and LOOK how much better things are in the school system since the 40's 50's and 60's when they had religion in school and we had CHRISTMAS plays.
I agree keep that damned religion out of school, and let planned parenthood in. Works out so well.

I'm sure it was the Christmas play that held things together back in the good ol' days before everything went to hell.

Yep. I even got my first Bible at school. Memorized something like 30 verses of Mark. Thank you Mr. Bible Man. Look how well I turned out. :newsmile39:

Nope, maybe taking religion out of everything was.
Whatever it was, it sure isn't working well.

Plenty of religion still left at the Baptist church.
