I understand that you're a coward and a liar without an ounce of self-respect or integrity, but you claimed that I said he was "a complete waste." You have still not admitted that you were wrong about that precisely because you are a coward and a liar without an ounce of self-respect or integrity.

As for the rest, it's unfortunate that you are so hopelessly stupid that you can't even recognize that Rivers does have below average arm strength. That was not a mistake, you're just too much of a moron to understand that. And no, I still do not believe that he was worthy of a first round pick. A first round QB is supposed to be one who can take over a game and win it for the team. Rivers has not demonstrated that he can do that, although he generally won't need to on a team that has LT and Gates. All he has to do is not screw up, which plays to his strengths as I have always praised his decision making.

I'd take Rivers in a heartbeat over Jake. We'd lose the deep ball, but we're not doing very well with that at the moment anyway. Plus Rivers would actually complete third down passes and avoid stupid turnovers.

you know, i bet the deep ball would open back up if we had someone who could complete balls underneath and throw timing out routes. matter of fact i bet the deep ball wouldn't have to be quite as deep. corners may actually bite if they thought the ball could come out accurately at any minute.

Nope. Would it be as effective? Maybe. Maybe not. But we wouldn't "lose" anything.

We'd definitely lose at least aspects of it. Rivers can't throw as far as Delhomme or Weinke, but I'd gladly take that trade off for more consistency on everything else.
