That's funny. That'll happen about the same time this team blows a 1st round pick on a receiving TE (which has been predicted by draft "experts" just about every year since Walls left).

I am saying that there were a number of dumb, bitter fucks around these parts last year, constantly harping on how inconsistent we were. At 11-5, and w/o dropping consecutive games all year, I can safely say that anyone with that perspective would be foolish.

Not that I'm for or against the draft talk, but this comment was interesting. You think we have any hope remaining for this season? For me it's over. Theres no playoffs. The team is in a Siefert like downward spiral. How can even the most Joey Sunshine type think the season isn't over?

There's 3 games left, and the NFC wildcard race is a mess.

Glad I am not the only one that noticed that, but it always makes me chuckle when I see it. It's funny how they continue to allow these guys to be called "experts". Seems the word would lose credibility at some point?

Well, you harped on about Rivers being a complete waste too, for what that's worth. Actually, i shouldnt even be starting with you as im a ND homer and id love to have Quinn. So my opinion isnt exactly worth listening too.

But, if Weis and Fox are as close as the media have made them out to be i wouldnt put it against Wies to put a buzz in Foxs ear that Quinn can be a fine Pro.

And if changes are called upon should we tank the remaining games a round one QB usually releaves some media pressure and can buy a HC some time. Probably wouldnt be a terrible idea since he'd have a year or two easily under Delhomme.

But i dont think Quinn goes #1 anyway, round one yeah. But staying at picks 10 or so should give us a shot at Quinn. Even though i guess im the only one that would make that move. We should have made that move last year if thats what we wanted to do, not saying anything bad about #34 but the prospects arent nearly as good at QB this year IMO.

But weve got to get 1 game above those already 1 game ahead of us with losing all those tie-breakers, 3 games to go. Its mathematically possible yeah, but damn, were playing worse and worse it seems.

We need Gamble and Lucas back to have a shot.

Traditionally, an expert's going to analyze a roster and judge it against what should be on the roster. Most guys wouldn't go around thinking "does this team have a specific problem that keeps them from wanting more talent at this position?", since most teams don't have that problem.

BTW, I'd love to have Fasano or even Scheffler still.

Yeah, sure would be nice. But its the Witten choice that kills me. We had him on a platter.
