The QB doesn't run the ball or stop the run so any talk about moving up to get one is fucking stupid

    Other half: No he doesnt

    1/2 of TBR: defense sucks
    Other half: No it doesnt

I can get down with anyone being interested in the draft. A good start is talking about it while actual football is being played for prospects.
Math's not doing it, but certainly, there have been a lot of "I'm gonna pout about the game by saying that one rookie will solve our problems and nfldraftcountdown.com says it's this guy" threads in the past.

I just thought it was a big stretch for a newspaper across the country to speculate on what the Panthers are thinking, considering that local newsfolks have a bad enough time getting them to commit to anything.

Any talk of MOVING up or down in the draft before Christmas should be considered a shot in the dark. Slow news day in Denver I presume, Sauerbrun is probably thier "source close to the team".:crap:

Watch L. Landry, the FS from LSU. Said to be top 10.

Although speculation is always fun and actually one of my favorite things that happens on this board, SI's prediction of us and a 1-3 round draft isn't going to happen, as someone pointed out in this or another thread that Fox doesn't want to wait for a player to mature to an average to elite level QB. Collin's comment of Carr got me excited for a minute, but I'm not sure that I want to drop Jake yet. Someone to push Jake is what I want now, and Weinke isn't the guy to push Jake. I still have faith in 17, though. He's brought us to the high of highs in January, and now we are at the low of lows.
