The Charlotte Bobcats have inquired about Allen Iverson's availability, and they might make an offer for the superstar guard now that the Philadelphia 76ers say they'll trade him.

"We made some inquiries if it was real," coach-general manager Bernie Bickerstaff told the Observer on Saturday. "Michael (Jordan) and I plan to sit down and chat" about whether to make an offer.

Jordan, the former NBA superstar, is part-owner of the Bobcats and oversees basketball operations. Bickerstaff said Jordan plans to be in Charlotte today for the team's home game against the Phoenix Suns

A.I. is the fastest/quickest person I've ever seen with the basketball, we might have to give up the great white dissapointment, but it will put people in the stands, and I think that is something they are very interested in doing. We'll see.

I think they may have 2 first round picks in this draft.

Bickerstaff would have led DreamTeam 1 to a bronze finish so acquiring AI wont do too many wonders.

Are you nuts ? Morrison seems to be the only player on the team worth watching, besides Okafor...trade some of those deadweight heels.

Just read an article, they aren't going to mortgage their future for AI, so we are probably safe. Morrison has been horrible last 3 home games, he's scored a TOTAL of 7 points over 3 games, and played more than 30 mins in each??? Crazy, huh, he was the rookie of the month in November, now he's in the worst slump of his basketball career, (looks like me out there).

Unfortunately, I don't think anybody is gonna trade for Melvin Ely, or Matt Carroll. Looks like we may just run out this season, and try and pick up some guys in the draft. I wonder how many picks we have?
