    I use cheddar &/or Monterey Jack cheese & top the cheese with crisp fried bacon. No need to marinate unless you want to add another flavor. If you don't want to bother with slicing, get grated cheese & just dump a bunch on the bread.

    I like a thin layer of Duke's mayo on the sandwich, too.

    i go to wal-mart and get them to slice me off some pepperjack cheese to make my sandwiches ....

    also add some sliced tomato kicks butt...
