Are you saying Weinke earned the starting job? That he played better than Delhomme? That he made the most of the opportunity, and that we have a QB controversy?

Have you read the whole thread? Delhomme has gotten heat here when he sucks.

Weinke has never not sucked, except last year when Jake got knocked the fuck out.

I'm just amazed how everyone forgot what this franchise was about before Jake and his streak of starts.

hate to be the one to break it to ya, Jake can't save this team now either. It has basically the same problems as the '01 team did. No running game to speak of, an O-line that sucks, and a defense that couldn't hold a lead against a Pop Warner team.

Today reminded me a lot of the end of the Seifert era, just looked like a hopeless team.

he had some high passes. he had some dropped passes. he strung out steve smith on one play. he threw an interception to absolutley nobody. he had a nice deep pass to drew carter.

but, no, i'm not talking about jake, it's weinke. par for the course of his career. 1 td, 3 int

jake is usually 2 td to 1 int.

that should squash all the "it's all jake's fault" people. if anything, i'll put more blame on him for NOT playing this game than all the other losses.

    How do you figure that??

If you guys would climb out of Jake's ass long enough to take a breath, you'd see...he ain't all that great. All I'm saying. We need a quarterback. If we could merge our 2 into one guy....he's priobably a superstar. But that ain't happening.
