Seriously, Weinke isn't playing that bad considering a few things.

    1. running game is completely stagnant.

    2. hasn't started a game since 2002.

    3. Giants defense is not a cupcake defense.

He has thrown for more yards and a TD than Romo did a week ago. He just happened to have 1 more int as well. Keeping this in mind, Romo had more pro-bowl targets, a solid running game to lean on, and stout defensive effort.

Weinke had a pretty good first half, I would expect better results from him under different circumstances. He did make a couple bad decisions which was probably expected, but I wouldn't completely dismiss him yet.

    :agreed:
Especially when you consider we were pretty much forced to put the game on his shoulders giving up 27. Weinke isn't on my shitlist because of today.

424 yards is pretty awesome for a guy who has not started in three years. If he plays next week I bet he does better.

He was awful in the first half too, he just got away with those late passes over the middle.

Jake Delhomme on a bad day, with a concussion and a bad thumb, is still our best quarterback.
