    You can't argue with Davis although I don't know what he's done other than Miami. I don't know what O'brien has done either though

    I sort of think it's still a mystery. Davis had success...but it was at a place that recruited itself. O'Brien...he had success at BC...but not like Davis.

    If I had to bet money, I'd say O'Brien. He had much less to work with and still keeps BC at the top of their conference. Plus he's still "dialed in" to college coaching.

    Davis has the bigger "name" and O'Brien's record against Davis isn't exactly stellar, but O'Brien is no slouch. He's done a lot with very little at BC, and its possible he has more available talent now that he'll be recruiting the south more. Its possible O'Brien knows how to do more with "less" and could be a real danger once he has better access to better weapons. SO I guess its a wait and see deal.

    I think it's safe to say both schools did real well upgrading from the losers they had previously. It's a good day for Big 4 football.

    If it turns out to be O'Brien for State, I'd still say it's too early. Each school got what they wanted, it seems.
