I suggested it, but I was told I was just making excuses.

He posted the criteria. Argue that with him.

The numbers are very relevant. You used your stats to suggest Jake was the only problem. I posted two stats directly holding our offense back, and contributing to Delhomme's struggles. I could see why you'd want to ignore them, though.

JD is averaging three less passes per game in wins than in losses. 35 passes per game in losses, 32 passes per game in wins.

Again, only looking at Delhomme's stats gives you very little to work on, unless you're only looking to be critical of Delhomme.

Time of posession is up in wins. Running attempts are up in wins. Clue?

    Or is running suddenly bad?

You want to run numbers for our defense, wins v/s losses?

fuck these qb stats, can anybody find out how many plays of 30 yards or more we've given up on defense.

let's see here, and i have some stats to back this up, but i think it's good for conversation.

atlanta- total pile of shit game, we played like ass

minnesota- punt return fuck up, get scored on on special teams with fake field goal. defense lets brad johnson complete like a 30 yard pass on ot. we lose.

tampa- we were up 17-0. wasn't this during jake's no interception streak??

new orleans- we won. jake 2 td's no picks. we score, defense gives up 86 yard td reception to colston.

cleveland- we win. jakes throws one td, 20/29. foster runs for 100. defense plays really well.

baltimore- we win. jakes throws for 365 with 2 td's 2 int's. one int is tipped. top rusher rushes for like 50 yards. defense gives up a 62 yard td pass. jakes counters with 80 yard td pass. defense gives up ANOTHER td, we run out clock.

cincy- jakes throws two td's, but the huge stupid pick. (announcers and also ricky proehl on sirius say that key should have taken the inside. but, what do they know, it's all jakes fault.) top rusher has 59 yards.

dallas- jakes 0 td's one pick. he also has a fumble. 4 different players are credited with dropped passes. one of those most likely would have been a td. we also have a special teams fumble. backed up, our defense gives up 25 points in the 4th quarter.

tampa bay- jake goes 2 td's 1 int. our best rusher has 48 yards. our defense plays really well. we win.

st louis- we win. jakes goes 1 td, 1int. williams rushes for 114. hoover fumbles on like the two, and key throws a pick. defense gets the shutout.

washington- we lose. jakes goes 1td , 2int. throws stupid interception. unfortunately, we are losing because the defense gives up 66 yard td to cooley after we took the lead.

philly- jakes goes 3 td, 2 int. one int was completely stupid. still, the defense gives up 24 to philly before jakes fuckup. williams runs for 74. we lose.

yep, it's all jakes fault. start weinke.

Just a stab in the dark, but I am betting a majority of these were in the 4th quarter???:newsmile29:

i was looking over some stats and noticed that every time we lose, we score less points than the other team, and evey time we win, we scored more

    that's fucking wild

I can tell you that our defense is only giving up 18.1 points per game, good for 6th in the NFL. I can also tell you that JD and the O are scoring a staggering 17.8 per game, good for 23rd in the NFL.
