    he's looked somewhat bad recently.

And plenty of people have, which was the point of the thread. I honestly don't know that meat or I are huge homers just because we won't irrationally rag Jake and say things like "if we had Romo we'd be twice the team we are."

If we had a QB producing at the level he has I think we would be more productive.

It seems that the fan base thinks it has a good QB playing badly. It's quite possible we just don't have a good QB.

Despite the fact that we don't have anything better I think it's a reallity that must be come to terms with.

I don't believe the analysts think he's an awful QB at all. Certainly, anyone would love to have Romo or Brees' numbers now. And those two offenses have, IMO, more talent and better coaching right now. Other than playoffs 03 and early playoffs 05, Jake's never been that guy, to lead the entire league. And no, Romo wouldn't be doing that here. Brees wouldn't be doing that here.

And he hasn't been an awful QB for three years, so I think it might warrant more thought into it than "he doesn't have talent." If he just doesn't have it anymore, or he's injured his arm in some way, or the team just doesn't believe, that might get taken care of after the year. If, or for you when, I don't believe we'll be a better team given what's out there, but if it's to be done, it'll get done.

I don't think many would prefer delhomme, either - but there aren't alot they'd prefer over Delhomme.

Salsbury was just gobbling Delhomme's cock on ESPN radio. Questioning the folks calling for his head.

Anyone think we might give Leftwich a call next year? Weve had to have scouted the shit out him. That was the year we drafted Gross.

Mags said Romo wouldn't make us twice as good and while I'm not talking about finding Romo here I said that someone producing like he had would have to help us. It makes perfect sense.

And I believe I'm right. No way does he make us twice as good. The way we're playing, Romo, Owens, and Witten would't make us "twice as good".

Would it help if our QB had 20 more points of QB rating? Of course it would. And neither Romo nor Brees would have their numbers here, since those are the only two guys that people can realistically call as elite right now in this conference.
