You win the SEC...you should be in the national title game. Big 10 is trash compared to the SEC.

Michigan might be the second best team in the country. Doesn't matter. OSU is better than Michigan. That was settled on the field already.

    Florida deserves their shot now.

Yep. UF's schedule has been brutal, to make it through that with one loss is very impressive. I don't think Ohio State would have done much better with the same schedule.

Florida passes Michigan into No. 2 in AP and coaches' poll

By RALPH D. RUSSO, AP Sports Writer
    December 3, 2006

Florida passed Michigan and returned to No. 2 in The Associated Press Top 25 and the coaches' poll on Sunday.

While the Gators had a slim lead of three points over Michigan in the AP poll, they were 26 points ahead of the Wolverines in the USA Today poll -- a margin that could help get Florida into the national title game.

The coaches' poll is one of three components used in the Bowl Championship Series standings, along with the Harris poll and a compilation of six computer ratings.

Ohio State coach Jim Tressel has a vote in the coaches' poll, but abstained this week.

"We are excited to play in the BCS title game against a tremendous opponent," he said in a statement. "After consultation with my director of athletics, Gene Smith, and based upon our unique position in the BCS standings, I believe it is only fair that we not participate the final poll."

The BCS pairings were to be announced later Sunday.

Definately a good point, but I just don't think Florida is deserving nor do I think there is a team outside of USC and Michigan that can bump OSU. OSU/Florida is going to be a boring title game.
I think Michigan wins on a nutural field...but just because of my hate for Florida, they end up getting in just to piss me off.:frown:

    Total horseshit.

OSU had a 2 score lead throughout the game earlier this year, despite all the turnovers. It wasn't that close, and OSU won with their B minus game. OSU wins 8 of 10 times played. Everyteam as a couple of games where they struggle to ugly wins. See Ball State and Michigan. OSU struggled vs Illionios.

As for Florida not being deserving, they just put up 38 on a pretty good defense. They have playmakers in Caldwell, Harvin, and Baker. I have no problems making them #2.

If it's a blowout, then it's just validation that OSU is that much better than everyone else.
