I noticed that most sales flyers aren't even advertising them, or any games for them (even though there's only a handful). I'm a Playstation guy, but I think this console is gonna bomb due to poor marketing. I won't be getting one. I'd honestly sooner buy a 360 before spending the extra money on a PS3.

But that being said, I saw one in Target, and they had some basketball game on.... The graphics were un-freakin-believable.

I wish Sony would come up with something as cool as XBox Live. If they did, I'd seriously consider a PS3.

I get bored within minutes playing by myself.

the marketing is poor because they don't have them in large numbers yet. They only sold around 350k so far, and tons went on ebay with price hikes. Why chase people to the store, only to have no ps3's there and a customer with $600 in hand looking at the 360's on the shelf.

I agree 100%. But it's still piss poor marketing to release the console with SO few available. I understand trying to build up the media hype over not having many, and getting free publicity in the news, but they limited it so much that stores aren't even advertising them as being on the market in their flyers.

Keep it. The average Blu-Ray play is $900. Worse case scenario you've got a good priced Blu-Ray player for you TV. You can play your old PS2 games on it as well.

I want one myself, but I won't even consider it till like this summer due to price, but if I had the extra coin I'd get one now. Well as soon as they were available again at retail.

As with all new console launches, I'm waiting for a specific game I want to play before buying.
