    no. UNC hired Neinas (who has recently become REAL popular hired by Miami and State both, and possibly Bama.) Anyways Neinas looked for possible candidates, with Butch Davis being number 1. Neinas negotiated a ton with Davis, as the middle man between him and UNC. He's not an official school employee so he can speak with him in hypotheticals and if it doesn't work out the egg isn't on the school's face. Anyways Neinas essential contacted Davis. Gauged his interest, discussed a POSSIBLE contract and requirements by both side. Set it up and then the AD works out the final paperwork based on the agreed stipulations between both parties.

    Um... it was a cut math. At the end of the day I'm still a UNC fan. I can joke on State just like anyone else would on UNC.
