    Bingo!!

I don't blame the poor play calling on Henning. If this was not normal play calling you might be able to do so. Henning has called games like this more than I care to think about. He is following Fox's philosophy, keep it close, win it with defense. Fox is not without blame and should not be given a pass. Fox is not always a fox but Henning is always the goat.

As far as Jake is concerned, he lacks accuracy and good judgement.

Newsflash, we're on the short end of the long season and the clock is ticking.

    Lol.

Really, its just about some guys here being upset with Henning, and one dipshit coming on and saying that anyone who blames Henning ENTIRELY, as he boldfaced the print, is an idiot or something of the sort.

As far as angry stuff? Yeah, Im angry. Were 6-5, we are a loaded team, and Ive watched games be pissed away when they didnt have to. It happens to teams, yes. Not the really good ones annually, not that much.

Good teams do not struggle to run the ball, struggle to convert third downs, consistently blow leads in the fourth quarter and run draws on third and ten down by 4 with three minutes to go.

I disagree that Henning is always the goat. I dont post too much, so maybe Im missing something, or maybe Im wrong, but I havent seen Henning be slandered all year.

ANd yes, Fox hears the plays. Sure, he better veto a dumbass play, but he cant veto everything. He lets the coordinators do their job, and at some point, they have to. Henning has been great before, I think. Thats why in one of my other posts, I said guys arent arrying their weight when I think theyre capable of it. But this game in particular, was one of the poorest games Ive seen called. Smart guys on this board besides me are saying it too. Its not something that anyone is making up because they want to make someone undeserved the goat, because anyone is trying to protect Foxy. Henning has got to give our guys a better chance, and today he didnt...until late in the game when we abandoned the damn PA, and went with quicker throws to offset the pressure. Fuck, man. By then, three quarters had past, and our defense was too damn tired.

edit---and if you dont blame the poor playcalling on Henning, then by all means, who the heck is responsible for it then??? FOXY???

I'm glad you took it with the humor it was meant. I certainly have an emotional investment in each game and hate to see us lose. We are a talented team. We have a window in which to win, then we may be forced to rebuild. Every game is important, too important to piss away.

Until Fox fires Henning, I will believe that Henning is calling the game the way Fox wants him to. Henning calls games like this too many times.
