THeyre checkdowns, and its not out of the realm of possiblity that they will run for the first down. I agree though, that you need to throw the fucking ball past the first down marker. BUt the Skins tackled well today.

BUt you cant absolve Henning, and you are. He was fucking awful today. Seriously, it was an time poor performance. ANd Jake DID improve, somewhat, when given the chance.

 

thats the problem i have with henning. it seems we have no plan and never make adjustments.a new oc has to be better than keeping what we have. granted henning has got us to the super bowl and nfc championship game but alot of that credit goes to players making plays and not any creativity on hennings part.

 

Actually, I am as big a Delhomme supporter as anybody out there....but the truth is he really hasn't done shit this year. The offense has been stagnant 99% of the time.

At this point, I would like to see what Weinke could do for a couple of series.......At the very least let Jake know that he has to be accountable for game-breaking, piss-poor decisions.

I'm not taking blame off Jake, but we sure are paying a lot of money to an oline that doesn't protect or open holes. When do we start calling Gross "Little Steussie"? He's had false starts at least the last 3 in a row and more before then if not every game.

 

I'd do it just to try and piss Jake off, maybe he might wake up.

 

Gross, in my opinion, has never lived up to his billing. He has been adequate.

 

Looking at the box score (only thing I could do) and their last set of downs, they went 80 yards in 4 plays?!? Where the hell was the defense?

 

Agreed. Its just sickening to me at this moment. Nothing hurts worse than knowing there were easy things we could have done to correct the product, and perhaps, win.
