National Championship

I just don't want a rematch.

Honestly, how will they work the championship with each team having a victory over the other should michigan win?

 

See that is my hope, a split championship. ANYTHING to futher back the arguement for a playoff. I am SOO fucking sick of seeing 6-6/6-5/7-5 teams getting Bowl bids...it's a fucking joke in my eyes.

 

That's not going to change with a playoff. The meaningless bowls will contine to be meaningless.

 

It would take time, but it would create parity throughout college football, IMO.

 

So I assume you don't watch any of the other bowls games besides the Nat'l title game then right? I really don't understand the big fuss about the bowl games, I mean you're not being forced to watch em or anything. It's just more football to watch during the week, stop whining.

 

It's the quality of the games that are called into question when you have teams that limp through the season playing for big money. They could have a playoff and still use the existing bowls, I have seen numerous layouts that would work. Some strictly including the Conference Champs and a hand full of at large teams and some that use the current structure except making the top 6-10 teams play it out.

There isn't another team other than Michigan and USC that deserves a shot at OSU. Urban Meyer can cry all he wants, but the Gators aren't of the proper pedigree to stand a chance, nor do they deserve the opportunity.
