So should we take this to mean that your favorite team for this week is NOT Boise? The voters were probably more impressed by Boise embarrassing Oregon State a month or so ago. SOS is what you'd expect for a WAC team - not much. They basically have a three game season.

I'm not so sure they'll beat Nevada this weekend.

    7-4 record should require a 11 game schedule , 8-4 for 12 games...so I agree.

    6-6 is pathetic.

    Don't believe there's 64 7-4 teams out there.

I think K-State gets the nod for the Alamo over Missouri because of their fan base. If not, we'll probably end up at the Insight or Independence.

There are sooooooooo many bowl games anymore and they seem to bring down the excitement of only the few that we should have. If teams with 6-6 records are getting into bowl games where is the sense of accomplishment in that?

    EXACTLY.

They need a playoff with the top 16-20 teams, and that's it. I will not go to a bowl where a team has only won 6 games unless my ticket and beer is paid for. It'll never happen now though, with the revenue the bowl games generate, it'll stay this way, and look for them to add MORE in the future. Sad.

Anyone who believes that the playoff system will definitively solve the "problems" with the BCS is a fucking moron. This has been discussed, so if you are one of those morons, kindly go back and read the threads to be educated.

Then they need fewer fucking bowls...64 bowl teams out of what 117 D1A teams, that's more than half.
